If your house is full of healthy, tasty and easy-to-use foods, then it's more likely you'll eat well during the week. However, for many people the supermarket can be a minefield. There's just too much choice, too many products and too little time to read food labels, and make informed decisions.
The holidays bring on a greater challenge, so Logan Regional Medical Center wants to help you decode the labels and choose the healthiest food for you and your family.
LRMC will host healthy shopping tours at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. Tuesday, November 18, at the Kroger Store on the Holden Road.
LRMC's dietitian will host the tour, which will take approximately 30 minutes, and is free to the public.
Gift bags will be given to all participants. For more information and to register for the event, call 831-1637.
