* BOIL WATER ADVISORY REMOVED - The Logan County Public Service District has removed a boil water advisory for the areas of Gilman Bottom, Cooks Addition and Vance's Bottom to the county line where the water was off. This advisory was removed Fri., Nov. 21.

* LOGAN - The Logan County Health Department will host Diabetes Day from 8-11 a.m. Services offered will be Diabetic information displays, blood pressure screenings, free software to help manage your diabetes and pharmacist and health care professionals to answer your questions. Those attending receive a One Touch Ultra 2 or UltraMini at no charge. Snacks and drinks provided by Rite Aid and LifeScan.

* MAN - The State Department of Education and the Arts, in conjunction with Workforce Investment board, will have a one-hour workshop at Man High School at 5 p.m. to learn how to obtain financial aid for education at vocational schools, colleges and universities. This workshop might be the best opportunity to learn about the scholarships, grants and other resources that are available to help finance your child's education. If you miss the meeting at your home school, you may attend at another.
