HARTS, WV - Cynthia Belle Adams, 64, of Harts, went home to be with the Lord Friday, November 21, 2008, at Logan Regional Medical Center.
Born May 15, 1944, in Harts, she was a daughter of the late Millard and Armilda Ramey Adams. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Franklin Delano "Doodie" Whitt; her favorite aunt, JoAnne Dempsey, and an uncle, Dickie Dempsey.
Cynthia was a member of the Coal Branch Church and enjoyed her grandchildren, planting flowers and watching country videos.
Those left to cherish her memory include three daughters, Rebecca Charmaine Whitt, Jennifer Gail Adkins and Stephanie Dawn Whitt, all of Harts; one son, Frankie Neil (Laura) Whitt of North Carolina; five sisters, Jean (Tracy) Kirk of North Carolina, Lilly (Willard) Dempsey of Man, and Darlene (Charlie) Godfrey, Phyllis Black and Charlotte (Ray) Smith, all of Harts; five grandchildren, Nickole Marie Whitt, Michael Frank (Megan) Whitt, Ryan Jonathan Fink, Tyler Brent Adkins, and Tanner Mitchell Messer; two great-grandchildren, Ryanne Whitt and Michael Lee Whitt Jr., and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 25, at the Freeman Funeral Home with Minister Kenny Kirk officiating. Burial will follow at the Coal Branch Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Michael Whitt Sr., Jarod Black, Ronnie "Bones" Kirk, Jerry Messer, Fernando Ray Bryant and Bill Mullins.
Freeman Funeral Home of Chapmanville is in charge of the arrangements.
