Chapmanville Middle School Prayer Club sponsored their annual can food drive. The entire school participated with can food and money donations. The club held a contest of which homeroom could bring in the most cans and Mrs. Patty Winkler's homeroom won with 348 cans and money donations. There was a total of 2,523 cans of food, plus the money donations. Along with the Chapmanville Bank, Logan Regional Medical Center, and CMS, the CMS prayer Club would like to thank everyone who participated. With the residents help, the Prayer Club gave 25 food baskets to the students in their school. The club is also working on the baskets for Christmas and will again need CMS students help.
