MAN - The Man Police Department has made another morphine related arrest according to recent police reports.

Rebecca Ann Workman, 32, of Comfort, was arrested by Patrolman J.H. Brown III of the Man Police Department for obstructing an officer, bad plates and possession of a controlled substance on Nov. 30.

Gary Patrick Jarrell, 36, of Davin, was arrested by Patrolman Brown on Nov. 30 for possession of a controlled substance and obstructing an officer.

According to police reports, Man Patrolman Brown made a routine traffic stop on the vehicle, which matched a Be On Look Out alert for a possible involvement in an attempted arson.

"This officer noticed the vehicle traveling on Main Street in Man towards Buffalo Creek when the traffic stop was initiated," the report states.

"Upon questioning (Jarrell and passenger Gary Patrick), this officer noticed the defendants were nervous and were moving objects from the center console. This officer then asked the defendant to step out of the vehicle along with her passenger. Both were asked if anything was in the vehicle such as drugs, weapons or alcohol and they stated 'no' numerous times. This officer then searched the vehicle with consent from both and found multiple syringes and four Adderal 25 mg pills throughout the vehicle. When asked what was in the syringes, the defendant and passenger both stated 'morphine' from earlier.

Both were then placed under arrest. Both were booked at the Southwestern Regional Jail at Holden at 4:55 a.m.
