NOAH SHADD

NORTH FORK, WV - Noah Jaxon Shadd, the precious son of Joshua and Lacy Akers Shadd of North Fork, entered the gates of heaven Thursday, December 11, 2008, from Boone Memorial Hospital at Madison at the age of two months and 25 days.

Born September 16, 2008, at CAMC Women's and Children's Hospital in Charleston and during his brief life brought great joy to his family.

Preceding him in death was his grandfather, Ernest Akers, and his great-grandparents, Joe and Nannie Shadd and John and Marie Woody.

Additionally, those left to cherish his memory include one sister, Rylee Grace Shadd, at home; maternal grandparents, Tammy and Gary Johnson of Clothier; paternal grandparents, Tommy and Emma Shadd of North Fork; great-grandmother, Donna King of Clothier; great-grandfather, William (Mary Wills) Akers of Clothier; great-grandmother, Mable Porter of Chauncey; aunts and uncles, Crystal and William E. Vest of North Fork, Candi and Stevie Trent of Henlawson, Jessica and Chris Arthur of Cox's Fork and Kelli Perry; many cousins, other family members and friends.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 15, at the Handley Funeral Home at Danville with the Rev. Roscoe Chaffin officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.

Pallbearers will be Adam Shadd, Tommy Shadd, Gary Johnson, Stevie Trent, and William E. Vest.
