DUNBAR, WV - Mason Perry, 63, of Dunbar, formerly of Logan, passed away Friday, December 19, 2008, at Thomas Memorial Hospital in Charleston.
Born January 1, 1945, at Madison Creek, he was a son of the late Onney Mason and Ruby Marie Burgess Perry. Also preceding him in death was Georgia Griffith.
Survivors include two brothers, Chester (Cora) Perry of Madison Creek and Bill (Linda) Perry of Lundale; three sisters, Myrtle Williams of Florida, Linda (Ike) Pauline of Michigan and Ernestine (Richard) Branham of Indiana; 23 nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 23, at the Honaker Funeral Home in Logan with Pastor Bernard Maynard Jr., officiating. Burial will follow at the Upper Hinchman Cemetery at Rich Creek.
Pallbearers will be Chester Perry II, Timothy J. Smith II, Samuel Marcum, Walter Marcum Jr., Paul Chambers, Danny Perry and Jason Maynard.
Honorary pallbearers are Harrison Spaulding, Jack Perry, Cletus Toler, Dencil Glanden and Carl Chambers.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at funeral home.
