The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Jack Morgan Jr. She is the granddaughter of Jack and Judy Morgan of Davin and the late Larry Richie of Florida. Courtney is a 2007 graduate of Southern Vance High School in Henderson, N.C., and is enrolled in the Surgical Technology program at Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College.
The groom is the son of Christopher and Annette Ellis of Hensley Heights and the grandson of Leonard and Patricia Ellis of Hunt, Brenda Sugg of Davin and the late Blaine G. Sugg Sr. Brandon is a 2007 graduate of Man High School and is employed with Alpha National Resources at Progress Coal.
The couple will be joined in marriage Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Claypool United Methodist Church by invitation only. A reception will follow the ceremony.
The couple will make their home in Man.
