Gas prices cheapest in coalfields

Logan County gasoline prices are the lowest in the coalfield counties today.

Last week, gasoline prices began a steady drop that saw gas fall from $3.69 for a gallon of regular unleaded to $3.42 throughout Logan County.

Those prices are currently the cheapest in the local area.

Gas prices in Danville this morning at two stations was $3.45 a gallon.

In Lincoln County yesterday, gas prices were still hovering at $3.43.

In Charleston on Monday, gas prices were at $3.43.

In Mingo County, gas on Friday was still $3.55 a gallon at several stations.
