STOLLINGS, W.Va. — Grace F. Boothe Farmer, 88, of Stollings, departed this life Saturday, October 22, 2011, at Logan Regional Medical Center.

Born July 8, 1923, in Lyburn, she was a daughter of the late Millard and Laura Wineland Boothe. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Theodore R. Farmer; one son, Billy David Farmer; six brothers, Earl, Gordon, Carl, Paul, Richard and Harold; three sisters, Vera, Sue and Kathryn; one grandson, Michael Swiney; one nephew, Kim Boothe; three nieces, Brenda Knight, Cathy Baisden and Dianne Wilburn, and her father and mother-in-law, Albert and Genoa Farmer.

Grace enjoyed housework, gardening and watching baseball games.

Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Jenny Swiney of Stollings; one son, James (Patsy) Farmer of Utica, Ohio; one brother, Bill (Betty) Boothe of Lakeland, Fla.; one sister-in-law, Donna Boothe of Hilliard, Ohio; four grandchildren, Jamie Farmer (Jim) Kornokovich, Jenna Farmer (Luke) Simon, Lindsay Swiney and Jason Swiney; four great-grandchildren, Kianna Brown, Reese Kornokovich, Ryder Simon and Jackson Simon; nine nieces and nephews; 16 great-nieces and nephews and a host of cousins.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 24, at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. John E, Godby officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Visitation will begin one hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.

Freeman Funeral Home of Chapmanville is in charge of the arrangements.
