Introducing - It is with great joy that Mike and Amy Bowen Holley announce the arrival of another blessing in their life. Their son, Jacob Andrew Holley, was born August 13, 2011 at 9:18pm at Cabell Huntington Hospital. He weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces and was 20 inches long. Jacob joins big sister Anna Grace in completing their family. Anna was thrilled with her first meeting of Jacob and was so excited that he had finally arrived. Anna and Jacob are the grandchildren of Gary and Dana Bowen of Wilkinson and Robert and Sheila Holley of Glenwood. Introducing - Josh and Stevie Plymale of Lyburn is pleased to introduce their new daughter, Athena Shea. Athena was born at 1:17 p.m. September 22, 2011, weighing 6 pounds, 6 ounces and being 19.25 inches long. Her proud grandparents are Larry Browning of Lyburn, Debbie Browning of Taplin and James and Trish Plymale of Myrtle Beach, S.C. She is the great-granddaughter of Earl and Sue Browning of Ly-burn, Donna Plymale of Landville and the late James Plymale.
Couple to wed November 19 - Jackie and Sherri Grimmett of Christian would like to announce the engagement and forthcoming wedding of their daughter, Leah Michelle, to Joshua Dale Browning, son of Roger and Kathy Browning of Landville. The bride-elect graduated from Man High School in 2010 and is a student of Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College's nursing class of 2013. The prospective groom graduated from Man High School in 2006 and is currently employed at Rockhouse Creek Development of Gilbert. The couple will be exchange vows at 3 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Oceana Freewill Baptist Church. The gracious custom of an open ceremony will be observed. A reception will follow at Man Central School.
