LOGAN, W.Va. — Mary Alice Mullins, 89, of Logan, departed this life Wednesday,

November 16, 2011, at her residence.

Born May 17, 1922, in Harts Creek, she was a daughter of the late George and Rose Adams Mullins. Also preceding her in death were her grandparents, Solomon and Mary Ann Mullins, and Anthony and Pricy Adams; four sisters, Dixie Mullins, Ocie Duty, Marie Adams and Rhoda Belcher, and four brothers, Burl Mullins, Sidney Mullins, Cary Mullins and Homer Mullins.

Alice loved her vegetable garden. She loved to plant vegetables and had no empty spaces in her ground.

Those left to cherish her memory include a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 21, at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Adams and Rev. Glenn White officiating. Burial will follow at the Adams-Mullins Cemetery at Buck Fork of Harts.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
