CHAPMANVILLE — The "In Action Project" group will host their 2nd Annual Thanksgiving Community dinner on Thanksgiving Day at Chapmanville Regional High School. The event is free and open to the community.

Last year, the project fed and delivered Thanksgiving dinners to people in the community. The PRIDE Center hosted the event; permitting Thanksgiving dinner to be cooked and served in the building as well as being the hub for filling order forms for delivery to the area. Local area businesses and individuals donated food, supplies, baskets and monetary gifts.

Chapmanville Regional High School is hosting the Community Thanksgiving Dinner this year. Dinner will be served beginning at 11 a.m. Home deliveries will also be available. Again, the dinner is free.

The high school has reserved an area to store the food as it comes in from donations, as well as Chapmanville Middle. The group plans to serve more than 500 people that day, in addition to supplying additional food to the community.
