The Chapmanville Regional High School Tigers are one win away from making their first-ever trip to Wheeling Island Stadium and the Class AA state football championship!

The Tigers football team has worked hard all season long. They’ve beaten Lincoln and Braxton County in the first two rounds of the playoff and now have a rematch with No. 1 Point Pleasant.

The game is scheduled for Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Point Pleasant High School in Mason County. We hope everyone makes the drive up to see the game and to cheer on the Tigers.

The winner of the game advances to Wheeling to the Class AA state title match against either Wayne or Shady Spring.

Chapmanville Regional has already made history by making it to the semifinals, which is a big feat. But, we know the Tigers aren’t satisfied with just a Final Four appearance.

We know the Tigers are more than capable of winning this game and the next!

Go, Tigers! Beat Point Pleasant and win your trip to Wheeling!
