Golden Anniversary - Charles R. “Bob” Fox and Reva Elam Fox of Appomattox, Va., formerly of Switzer, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple were married Thanksgiving Day, November 23, 1961, in Logan. Bob and Reva are the parents of one daughter, Jennifer Joyner; three grandchildren, Sarah Martin, Carissa Joyner and Trey Joyner, and one great granddaughter, Trista Hudgins. Bob was a former teacher and educational administrator and most recently, a counselor with the Virginia Department of Corrections. Reva was a former elementary school teacher. They both are volunteers with several organizations in Appomattox County, Va.
