TONEY, Ala. — Justin Michael Lankas, 19, of Toney, Ala., formerly of Elk Creek and Pocahontas County, departed this life December 3, 2011, at Mt. Meigs, Ala.

Born March 4, 1992, in Wake County, N.C., he was the beloved son of Tamara McDonald Allen of Bailey, N.C., Brenda Harris Lankas of Toney, Ala., and the late Paul Lankas.

Also preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, John and Myrtle McCoy Harris.

Those left to cherish his memory, in addition to his mothers, include one brother, Gregory Lankas of Toney, Ala.; four uncles, Harold Harris of Combs Addition, Roger Harris of Verner, John Harris of Delbarton and Roy Russell of Lyburn; six aunts, Inez Harris of Verner, Judy Harris of Combs Addition, Opal Harris of South Williamson, Pam McDonald of Bailey, Angie McDonald of Man and Myra Russell of Lyburn; numerous cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will commence at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 14, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Pope officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home.
