“America’s Got Talent” winner Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. will conduct an autograph session in Chapmanville before his sold-out concert.
Murphy said he will be signing autographs at Towne & Country Foodland, owned by his longtime friend Rick Lowe, on February 3 from 1-3 p.m. at the grocery store.
Murphy was shopping with his wife and family in Macy’s in the Charleston Town Center on Tuesday evening and posing for photos with fans.
Murphy said he will also be performing at the Chief Logan Convention Center for a charity dinner, but did not give a date for the show.
Murphy, a Logan County car detailer who went from car wash rags to riches by winning the TV reality talent show, headlined a show in Las Vegas last year shortly after his landslide victory. He has since sold out shows at the Clay Center in Charleston and at the Paramount Arts Center in Ashland, Ky.
He will perform at the Coalfield Jamboree in Logan on February 3. The show is completely sold out. Murphy will also participate in a charity function after his Coalfield Jamboree show that will benefit the Logan County Child Advocacy Center.
Murphy is a native of Omar, where he, his wife and family continue to live.
