Murphy, the car washing crooner who won the TV reality talent contest by a landslide, will perform at the 81st Annual Logan County Chamber of Commerce dinner tomorrow night and then will perform at the Coalfield Jamboree on Friday night.
Both shows sold out quickly.
In addition to the two shows, Murphy will sign autographs at Towne & Country Foodland in Chapmanville on Friday from 1-3 p.m. He will also have a meet and greet session after his Friday night show at the Coalfield Jamboree that will benefit the Logan County Child Advocacy Center. Bracelets are currently being sold at the Logan BB&T office to concert ticket holders for the charity meet and greet.
If any bracelets are still available the night of the show, they will be on sale in the lobby of the Coalfield Jamboree immediately prior to Murphy’s performance.
Murphy has a history of doing benefit performances for local children’s causes long before his record-breaking win on America’s Got Talent, his Las Vegas-headlining shows and his sold-out concert tour.
The popular vocalist is currently on tour in support of his Columbia Records debut album “That’s Life”, and all of his concert dates in and around the Mountain State have sold out.
Murphy, who remains a resident of Omar, has sold out several shows in Charleston and Ashland, Ky. His single "That's Life" is currently in rotation on radio stations in Charleston and his album of the same name has sold well for Columbia Records. Murphy will also headline a concert at the Clay Center in Charleston in late February.
