He was born November 6, 1928 in Yolyn, he was a son of the late Lacy and Martha
Jarrell. Also preceding him in death was his wife, Helen June Jarrell; one son, Billy Joe Jarrell; five brothers, Robert, Roy, Seybert, Freddie and Joe, and one sister, Vernis Adkins.
Troy was a member at North Fork Church of Christ. He enjoyed collecting bells, figurines and hats.
Those left to cherish his memory include one daughter; Brenda Joy Jarrell of Chapmanville; one son, Paul David Jarrell of Chapmanville; four sisters, Ernestine Hartley, Marie Chapman, Opal Jean Jarrell and Linda Ward, all of North Fork; six grandchildren, Marilyn Adams, Wesley Dingess, Jennifer Jarrell, Billy Jarrell Jr., Samuel Dingess and Troy Jarrell; and six great-grandchildren, Corey Lawson, Brandon Jarrell, Alesia Dingess, Codie Dingess, Natalie Jarrell and Ryan Adams.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 9, at Freeman Funeral Home with Ronnie Linville officiating. Burial will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
