Born December 9, 1960, in Madison, he was a son of the late Troy Davis and Helen June Jarrell. Also preceding him in death were his grandparents, Lacy Ernest and Martha Ann Jarrell and Odfer Sr. and Stella Billups; one brother, Billy Joe Jarrell; nine uncles, Robert, Roy, Seybert, Freddie, Joe, Silas, Thomas, Bethel and Odfer Jr., and one aunt, Vernis Adkins.
Paul enjoyed 4-wheeling, watching movies and old cars.
Those left to cherish his memory include one sister, Brenda Joy Jarrell (Bill Dingess) of Chapmanville; seven aunts, Ernestine Hartley, Marie Chapman, Opal Jean Jarrell and Linda Ward, all of North Fork, Ellen Jean Loney of Kansas, Kathy Romic of Cleveland, and Francis Lovejoy of Puerto Rico; two uncles, Clayton (Elsie) Billups of Alkol and Gary (Edna) Billups of Missouri; six nieces and nephews, Marilyn Perry, Wesley Dingess, Jennifer Jarrell, Billy Jarrell Jr., Samuel Dingess and Troy Jarrell, and six great-nieces and nephews, Corey Lawson, Brandon Jarrell, Alesia Dingess, Codie Dingess, Natalie Jarrell, and Ryan Adams.
Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, February 24, at Freeman Funeral Home with Ronnie Linville officiating. Burial will follow at Danville Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
