Customers of the Logan County Public Service District (LCPSD) in the Pitt Branch and Mud Fork communities have been under boil water notices until Tuesday, when both were lifted.

The boil water advisory for Pitt Branch was put into effect on March 1 as a precautionary boil notice.

The Mud Fork notice was also precautionary and was put into effect on March 2.

"We are pleased to report that the problem(s have) been corrected and it is no longer necessary to boil your water," press releases from the Logan County PSD said. "We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

"Please share this information with all the other people who are customers, especially those who may not have received this notice directly."

For more information, contact the Logan County Public Service District at 304-946-2641.
