Read Across America Day was celebrated on the anniversary of Theodor Giesel, better known as the Rhyming Dr. Seuss' birthday, March 2, 2012. Logan Elementary School, along with other schools nationwide, celebrated with a lot of reading. Mrs. Nagy and Mrs. Nolletti's Logan Pre-K class celebrated a day early. Dr. Seuss states in his book, I Can Read With My Eyes Shut, "The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go." Logan Pre-K enjoyed a second grade performance of Seussical, exploring with shaving cream and a read-a-loud with the Cat for a "Seusstastic" day. (Photo | Submitted)
