Born August 19, 1926, in Leet, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and& Christine Lambert. Also preceding her in death was her husband of 50 years, Rush Hensley;, one sister, Nona Peyton; one brother, Thomas Lambert; three sons, David Lambert, Koblenz Hensley and Burns Hensley, and their longtime friend that they took care of, Robert Hensley.
Vivian was a loving mom, grandmother, great-grandmother and a faithful Christian, who gave her love freely; her family was her life. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and taking care of her
beautiful flowers. She loved attending church and will be missed by everyone. She was a longtime member of the Tabitha Old Regular Baptist Church. Vivian always kept plenty of snacks and drinks for her great-grandchildren, anticipating their daily visits and loved shopping and eating out with her best friend and sister Doris.
Her family will have to go on without her. Her precious memories will be in our hearts forever, and knowing that she is sheltered in the arms of Jesus and we will see her again in Heaven is what will keep us going.
Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Brenda (Norman) Dingess of Big Creek; two sons, Lawrence “Snook” (Vanna) Hensley and Denny “Attu” Hensley; three sisters, Doris Ferrell of Big Ugly, Sue (Sherman) Smith of Ferrellsburg and Irene (Butch) Butcher of Mansfield, Ohio; three brothers, Orville “Foxy” (Irene) Lambert of North Fork, Vernard (Faye) Lambert of Big Ugly and Jake (Donna) Lambert of
