Several areas have been added to the boil water advisories due to water line breaks.

The City of Logan Water Department has issued a boil water notice for all of Mud Fork and all of Three Mile Curve on Friday, March 16.

The Logan County Public Service District issued boil water advisories Friday for the Pitt Branch and Crawley Creek areas of Chapmanville, and for the Lake and Mill Creek areas.

The LCPSD issued boil water advisories for the Mud Fork area, and from Stollings to Rita Mall, including Rum Creek, Lyburn, Neibert and Madison Creek on Thursday. This advisory is still in effect.

Both water districts urge boiling the water for one minute and to cool before using. Also use caution when doing laundry.

Customers of both districts will be notified when it is no longer necessary to boil their water.

For more information, call the LCPSD at 304-946-2641 or the City of Logan Water Department at 304-752-7870.
