WHITMAN, W.Va. — Tom “Tom Tom” Christopher Bias, 41, of Whitman, died Sunday, April 1, 2012, from injuries received in a automobile accident in Lincoln county. Born March 11, 1971, in Fairborn, Ohio, he was a son of Tom and Veda Elkins Bias of Supply, N.C.

Tom Tom was an auto body repairman and a former Holden Little League Coach for 13 years. He enjoyed many outdoor activities that included hunting, fishing, riding 4-wheelers and Harleys,

Additional survivors include two sons, Joseph Michael (Ashley) Bias and Jacob Bias, both of Whitman; two daughters Jessica Bias and Tomi Bias, both of Whitman; one grandchild, Joseph Isaiah Bias; his former wife of 20 years, Lisa Cottos Bias; maternal grandmother, Bernice Elkins Sellards of Whitman; two brothers, Benjamin Clinton (Kristy) Bias and Kyle Douglas (Angela) Bias, both of Bolivia, N.C.; one sister, Angela Renee (John Cory) Reaves of Supply; five aunts, Lois Mayhorn, Avonelle Elkins, Judi Elkins, Claudia Ellis and Rebecca (Kirby) Rhodes, all of Whitman; nieces and nephews, Benjamin Coby Bias, Sarah Emily Reaves, Haley Breanne Bias, Haiden Douglas Bias, Adam Bias and Katie Renee Reaves, and a host of other relatives and special friends.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, April 6, at 20 Whitman Community Church with Pastor Joaquine Ooten, Rev. Johnny Atkins and Rev. Raymond Bumgarner officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.

Visitation will begin after 6 p.m. Thursday at the church.

Pallbearers include Danny Dean, Richie Ojeda, Pat Kenney, Adam Bias, Kendall Dingess and Gino Pansera.

Honorary pallbearers include Mello Pansera, Dana Mahone, Micky Frankum, Brady Lambert, Kirby Rhodes, Jonathan Porter and Bill Toler.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest contributions be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses.

Im sorry for your loss and I'm thinking of you kids! I know how hard it is to loose a parent, but try and stay strong and remember all the good memories that you have with your daddy! He loved you all dearly! I didn't know him personally, but I have heard nothing but good things about him!
