HARTS, W.Va. — Michael Lee Browning, 30, of Harts, departed this life Saturday, January 24, 2009, in an automobile accident at Harts.

Born August 1, 1978, in Huntington, he was a son of Elvie and Gimma Lucas Browning of Harts. Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents, Warren and Violet Browning, and his maternal grandparents, Ward and Dorothy Lucas.

Michael was a graduate of Harts High School and employed by Asplundh Tree Service. He enjoyed spending time with his daughters, four wheel riding, hunting and hanging out with his friends. He especially enjoyed having a special day out with his three-year-old daughter Morgan at “Johnnys” (Giovanni’s) and spending special time playing with his infant daughter, Skylar.

Additional survivors include his two precious daughters, Morgan and Skylar Browning, and their mother, Joanna McCann, all of Harts; one brother, Steven Browning of Harts, and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, January 28, at the Freeman Funeral Home at Chapmanville with Rev. Frankie Frye officiating. Burial will follow at the Lucas Family Cemetery on Rock House of Big Ugly.

Visitation will be from 6-11 p.m. today at the funeral home.

At the family’s request, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Elvie and Gimma Browning, Rt. 1 Box 172, Harts, WV 25524.

Freeman Funeral Home of Chapmanville is in charge of arrangements.
