DELBARTON, W.Va. — Ernest Ray Newsome, 46, of Delbarton, went to be with the Lord Monday April 23, 2012, at Williamson Memorial Hospital.
Born December 7, 1965, in Holden, he was a son of the Late Willard and Ollie Dempsey Newsome.
Ernest was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him. He was of the Baptist faith and loved the Lord and his family above all else.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Patricia Smith Newsome; sons, Bradley (Kellie) Newsome and Joshua (Ellen) Newsome, all of Delbarton, and one daughter, Debra (Clyde) Lackey of Logan.
Services will be held at noon Thursday, April 26, at Lily of the Valley Church at Riffe Branch with Rev. Sid Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Spence Family Cemetery at Riffe Branch.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-noon Thursday at the church.
