Logan High School Theater students hit the stage Friday at 7 p.m. to present the one act comedy “How To Succeed In High School Without Really Trying”. The performance will also mark the first time the public gets to see the newly installed lighting system in the Little Theater. This will be the only public performance of the play. Admission is $3.

The Logan High School Theater Department will present the comedy “How To Succeed in High School Without Really Trying” Friday beginning at 7 p.m.

The comedy is about a group of upper classmen that take over an 8th grade assembly and then instruct incoming students on how to survive high school with very little effort. It’s a one act play written by Jonathon Rand

The show is directed by Bill France, who has also directed plays for both the Aracoma Story and Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College.

“The show is performed by the school’s Theater performance class and features some of Logan’s best and brightest talents,” France said.

Cast members includes Shana Nelson, who recently placed first place in dramatic monologue at Marshall University’s SCORES competition; Jammie Adkins, David Anderson, Jacob Collins, Kaitlyn Hall, Alex Marcum, Elisha Marcum, Katlyn Mollett, Hunter Napier, Skylar Prichard, Jordan Spears, Kandice Trejo, Shane Vance and Jordan Workman. The tech crew consists of Daniel Sunderland and Richard Ojeda on lights and Dylan Vidovich on sound.

“This will also mark the first time the public will get a chance to see the newly installed lighting system in the Logan High School Little Theater,” France said.

The play will only be presented Friday and admission is $3.
