MICHAEL HATFIELD

GILBERT, W.Va. — Michael Tyler Hatfield, 17, of Gilbert passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2012.

Born January 10, 1995, at Logan, he was a son of Michael and Patty Kennedy Hatfield of Gilbert.

Preceding him in death was a sister, Summer Desirae Hatfield; uncle, Justin Hatfield, and cousin, Roger Todd Hatfield.

Michael Tyler was a loving son, nephew, cousin and friend. He was a student a Mingo Central and loved playing football. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburg Steelers and enjoyed working at Hardee’s. He was a wonderful friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Additional survivors include his paternal grandfather, George Hatfield of Gilbert; maternal grandparents, Paul and Loretta Kennedy of Justice; uncles: Roger (Tonya) Hatfield of Kentucky, and Brock Hatfield and George (Diane) Hatfield, both of Gilbert; aunts: Elizabeth Hatfield, Ramona Hatfield, Michelle (Joey) New, and Cindy (Obed) Johnson, all of Gilbert, and ahost of other dear relatives and friends.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 4, at the Freedom Full Gospel Assembly House of Prayer at Hampden with Rev. Carl “Cab” Wolford and Rev. Homer Blankenship officiating. Burial will be in the Carter Cemetery on Browning Fork of Gilbert.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today at the church.

Pallbearers will be Josh May, Josh Bailey, Dakota Endicott, Brandon Blankenship, Dustin Vannatter, Ashton Cline, John May and other football team members.
