Editor,

In response to the letter written by Shawn Higgins. Investors Business Daily. All West Virginians would do well to heed the letter and listen up. West Virginia is COAL. It’s the livelihood of thousands of families. If coal and coal mining is stopped, what will become of WV and other coal producing states?

They will be no more. Think about it voters.

In response to Ms.Schram's letter. In twenty five years the coal will be mined out. If this is the majorities way of living, what are you going to do then? Are West Virginians going to try to attract tourist? What would you base your tourist attractions on? Who would want to visit Wv and look at mountains that have the tops blasted off or experience flash floods or look at the trash in the rivers? You might just want to start thinking now about the future of WV.
