As the election draws closer and citizens of our state go to the polls, it would be refreshing to have a major percentage of our citizenry begin to ask, “How should our elected officials govern?”
Hopefully the citizens will elect men and women who will redefine their sphere as limited. We need more of our freedoms back and less civil government to rule our lives.
May we again elect officials who will uphold the Constitution with its limited scope of government in our lives. May we vote intelligently and principally as we go to the polls.

He has released the long version of his birth certificate and he said on TV that there would be those who would not accept it and he was right.
He wasn't an outstanding student at Columbia but he did graduate in 1983 with a degree in political science. He specialized in international relations.
Law school was another story for Obama. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School (the second highest honor available) in 1991. He also was the first black president of the Harvard Law Review, a very prestigious honor.
It isn't the birth certificate or his grades, it is an out and out conspiracy against him.
We all know you dislike Obama, that comes through clearly. But, one would hope that you are an adult and could conduct yourself in a manner of someone above your usual unkind, unnecessary remarks. But, with each post you put on here it is abundantly clear you are not.
I agree with the previous poster, there has been a conspiracy against this President from day one and it isn't just because he is a Democrat.

Hoss didn’t answer my question about Obama because he can’t, and neither can you. Obama has all his records sealed. Do you know why? It would expose him as a fraud! However, beyond all of that, Obama is a failure as a president. Democrats such as Bill Clinton wanted Hillary to run again because Obama is so inept. As a world leader, he is very weak. I don’t judge him for the mess he inherited, but what he has done since elected. The debt has increased, but not jobs. You would have to go back to the early 1980s to see the low number of people working.
Many West Virginians voted for a felon over Obama. What does that tell you? It tells you people are fed up with him and want a change.
Obama is trying to divide us by race, sex, class, and just about anything else he can. He finally came out of the closet about homosexual marriage. What person in their right mind thinks it is alright for two gays to marry in church? Marriage is between a man and a woman and has to do with propagating the human race. He is trying to earn brownie points with the gay community.
Obama said, “if I had a son, he would look like Trayvon.” It was stupid for Obama to interject himself into the fray. What did it accomplish? It earned him some brownie points with the black community. It is beyond the scope of the letter to list all of Obama’s foibles in one setting. We need true presidential leadership again; not some sophomoric adult who never grew up!
FactCheck.org staffers have seen, touched, examined and photographed the original birth certificate and said they could conclude that it meets all of the requirements from the State Department for proving U.S. citizenship. Claims that the document lacks a raised seal or a signature are false. They have posted high-resolution photographs of the document as "supporting documents" to this article. Our conclusion: Obama was born in the U.S.A. just as he has always said.
He did release the long form of his birth certificate. And, just as he predicted, there are those, including you, as well as others who still won't accept that he was indeed born in Hawaii.
As for Sheriff Joe Arpaio, Federal authorities said Wednesday that they planned to sue Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio and his office over allegations of civil rights violations, including racial profiling of Latinos.
Nitpicking, malicious, mean-spirited nitpicking is what it is. It boggles the mind to think that you and others like you have nothing better to do than to continuously harp on the same old things that has already been proven.
Many people from the start of his Presidency have seen a conspiracy against Obama. And I don't think it is just because he is a Democrat.
Obama is surrounded by a liberal press and miscreants bent on nothing short of the destruction of the capitalist system in our country. He is trying to destroy the coal industry in West Virginia by his extremist policies. Did you notice that when a liberal changes his mind on a subject, he is evolving; but when a conservative does it he is flip-flopping? Case in point is Obama’s flip flop on the gay marriage issue. Joe Biden stuck his foot in his mouth and told Obama’s true feelings on the subject. Obama might even lose one or two black votes because of his stand on that issue.
Back to the birth certificate, if you go to the World Net Daily web site, you will see absolute proof that the birth certificate on-line is a fraud. How does Obama answer his critics, he has his racist attorney general – Eric Holder - go after them with trumped up charges. No wonder West Virginian’s gave support to a felon over Obama. I believe the felon is more honest. Holder should be put in jail for selling firearms to the Mexican drug cartel.
Tell me one thing, what was Obama’s GPA while at college? Ummm…I thought you couldn’t answer that and nothing else as well. Did Obama study abroad? Why doesn’t he open the records? Because it would show him for the absolute lying fraud he is!
This tells me one thing: Obama is toast in West Virginia! Obama can stick his tail between his legs and hobble on back to Chicago and his community organizer job come November!
Vote wisely this time West Virginia…vote for Obama and you will lose your freedom, and we will become a communist country.
