ROBINETTE — One woman was injured when the ATV she was driving collided with a pickup truck Wednesday afternoon in the Buffalo Creek area.

The ATV was driven by a woman identified as Crystal Holly who reportedly was driving her Honda ATV on the side of the road. When the machine came to a bridge it collided with a Chevy pickup truck driven by Thom Gilco.

According to reports, the truck was turning off at the Proctor Bottom Bridge and the ATV rider apparently didn’t see it. The driver of the ATV struck the truck and was thrown onto the hood of the Chevy. The woman was transported to Logan Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Witnesses say she was not wearing a helmet when the accident occurred around noon Wednesday.

The driver of the truck was not injured.
