Simpson makes it official

Man High School senior baseball player Jordan Simpson made it official on Friday morning as he signed a national letter of intent to play collegiate baseball at Division II West Virginia State of the WVIAC. The all-state pitcher and shortstop had previously made a verbal commitment to play for the Yellow Jackets. In the back row, from left, Greg Crabtree, Larry Vance, Cameron Simpson, Barb Simpson, Kenny Simpson I and Bill Lusk. In four years with Man, Simpson was 15-14 on the hill with a 3.50 ERA. At the plate, he batted .413 with 19 home runs, 132 RBI and 44 doubles.
