DOROTHY MARTIN

HARTS, W.Va. — Mrs. Dorothy Stollings Martin, 88, of Harts, was born November 5, 1923, at Harts, a daughter of the late Abisha and Anna Adkins Tomblin. She departed this life to be with her Lord she faithfully served while on this Earth Thursday, May 31, 2012, at Lincoln Nursing and Rehab in Hamlin.

Also preceding her in death was her first husband, Glesco Stollings; second husband, Tom Martin; grandson, Larry Stollings; great-grandson, Devon Dotson, and nephew, Randle Egnor.

Mrs. Martin was a homemaker and member of the Harts Baptist Church.

Survivors include four sons, Jesse (Vida) Stollings of Russellville, Ark., Dale (Laura) Stollings of Ft. Wayne, Ind., Ancil (Tammy) Stollings of Harts, and Gary (Trish) Stollings of Hazel Park, Mich.; one daughter, Patricia (Jody) Lucas of Huntington; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren, and seven special nieces and nephews, Bobby, Charlie, Roy, George, Don, Cynthia “Sissy” and Dorothy, and step-son, John Barry Martin of Harts.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 3, at the Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Jimmy Carter and Rev. Donald Manns officiating. Burial will follow in the Manns Cemetery at Harts.

Nephews and grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services at Chapmanville is in charge of the arrangements.
