ELIZABETH HARRISON

SUMMERSVILLE, W.Va. — Mrs. Elizabeth A. Bailey Harrison, 67, of Summersville, formerly of Whitman, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2012 in Charleston.

Born August 7, 1944 at Logan, she was a daughter of Mrs. Gladys (Goldie) Foster of Summersville and the late Homer Isaac Bailey. Also preceding her in death was her brother, Leslie N. Bailey, and half-brother, Junior Bailey.

Mrs. Harrison was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. She was a longtime member of the No. 14 Whitman Church.

Additional survivors include the father of her children, Ronald Harrison Sr.; son, Ronald (Sherry) Harrison Jr., of Holden; daughter, Debra A. (William) Beirne of Summersville; three grandchildren, Sarah (Justin) Nelson of Logan, Billy Ray (Jessica) Beirne of Summersville, and Kacie Harrison of Whitman; two brothers, Shelby (Sandy) Bailey of Front Royal, Va., and Earl Bailey of Logan; half-sister, Ethelene Hall of Cocoa Beach, Fla., and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, at Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Henry Damron officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum at Pecks Mill.

Visitation will begin after 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Chapmanville is in charge of the arrangements.
