Burch Middle School won the boys' game, 36-24, while the Lady Lions beat the Lady Bulldogs, 25-20.
Matthew Lester led the Gilbert boys with 12 points. Trevor Abbott had six, Blake Cline three and Mallie May two. Burch's scoring was not fully provided with first names of the players.
Paige Mullins led the Gilbert girls with eight points. Chelsea Browning had five and Chrissy Farmer three, while Shawna Browning, Chelsea Lambert, Emily Cline and Natasha St.Clair all had two. Danielle Browning had one.
Kennedy Curry paced the Burch Middle girls with six points. Cayla Hatfield had five, Brianna Smith and Brittany Maynard had four each and Ashley Curry had one.
