A reception/meeting was held in honor of retired music educators at the West Virginia Music Educators Association (MWMEA) Conference at the Waterfront Hotel in Morgantown March 15, 2012. Phyllis Osenton, retired membership chair, presided over the event. Mrs. Osenton is a past president and a member of the WVMEA Hall of Fame. Retired music educators and their guests in attendance were, seated, Patience Brock of Ellamore, Phyllis Osenton of Logan, and Mary Lutz of Jacksonville, Fla., and standing, John Puffenbarger of Buckhannon, John Schooley of Fairmont, Reva Icard of Moundsville, and Teri Cesare-Bartniki of Wheeling. Absent from the picture were State Department Arts Coordinator and WVMEA President Jack Deskins and Fred Meyer, both of Charleston, Renee Wyatt of Clarksburg and Owen Osenton of Logan.
