John and Amy Keffer of Verner are happy to announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Malorie Kathryn, to Jordan Trey Taylor, the son of Rodney and Johnna Dean Taylor of Holden.

The bride-elect is a 2009 graduate of Man High School and is attending Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College pursuing a degree in elementary education. She is the granddaughter of Richard and Janet Mitchell of Verner, and the late Tommy and Shelby Keffer of South Man. Malorie is the great-granddaughter of the late Bill and Emma Mitchell of Verner, the late John Kenneth and Alice Keffer of South Man, Norma Scarberry of Huntington, and the late Charles Scarberry.

The prospective groom is a 2008 graduate of Logan High School and is employed at Cliffs Logan County Coal. He is the grandson of Gail Taylor of Holden, the late Ronald Taylor, John Fenney of Upsher County and Judy Adkins.

The couple will be united in marriage at 4 p.m. Saturday, June 16, at the Man Church of the Nazarene. The gracious custom of an open ceremony will be observed.

The couple will make their home at Verner.
