CHAPMANVILLE, W.Va. — Funeral services for a Chapmanville Councilmember has been scheduled for Saturday at Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Chapmanville
Councilman Paul Christian, 75, of Chapmanville, died Wednesday, June 13, at his residence. He assumed his position on the Chapmanville Town Council on July 1, 2011.
A U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Korean Conflict, Christian was retired from the Department of Highway Safety Division and attended the Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Sadie Ann Christian, two children, Rhonda Christian Kinder and Mike Christian.
Memorial services will be held at the Evans Funeral Home and Cremations beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday. The public may pay their respects beginning at 5 p.m. also at the funeral home.
