Local residents among WVU students earning degrees

MORGANTOWN — A total of 3,766 students were granted degrees from West Virginia University in May.

WVU graduates came from 43 states and 43 countries. A total of 2,174 graduates were in-state students; 1,592 were from outside of West Virginia; 94 were international students.

Graduates and their families were recognized at Commencement ceremonies across Morgantown on May 11-13. Check out a video of these students’ final steps as WVU students here.
