The Logan High Prayer Club was able to prepare 160 food boxes for less fortunate Logan High School student's families for Christmas.

Each family received two boxes pack with canned and boxed food. They also were given a ham. Donations of food from students and monetary gifts were given by the facility to promote this worthy effort. The Prayer Club also assisted the Cola Coca Company with as winter coat drive which provided a lot of folks with warmth for the cold season.

The Prayer Club works to issue good will when there is a need at the school. The students, staff, and administration are benevolent in caring for the needs of the under privileged. Adviser to the Prayer Club is John E. Godby, who is spiritually proud to be part of this amity youth movement.

The Prayer Club is planning to have an Easter canned food drive; any individual, church or organization that would like to partner with the Prayer Club in mission can start saving canned food or collecting money for the purchasing of ham and hygiene.

You may contact Logan High School at 752-6606 on any school day for more information.
