Celebrating birthday during the months of March, April, May and June were, from left, Gay Cook, Gloria Martin, Ruth Copley, Peggy Heatherman, Bertha Curnette, Hessie Gunnells, Betty Spears and Nora Willis.

The Logan Regional Medical Center Auxiliary, an affiliate of AWVHA, held the Spring Meeting which included the election of officers for 2012-2013 with President Gay Cook, presiding, on April 28, 2012 at the St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Logan.

Auxilian Cecil Willis opened the meeting with the invocation and blessing of the food. The meal was catered by Granny Jack’s Restaurant of Barnabus.

A report was given from the Nominating Committee which consisted of Betty Toney, Deloris Smith, and Margaret Shriver. Parliamentarian Alice Cheek, presided over the nomination and election procedure. Officers nominated and elected for 2012-2013 were: President, Beverly Roark; 1st Vice President, Betty Lambert; 2nd Vice President, Norma Miller; Secretary, Janice Barker; Treasurer, Midge Cox and Co-Treasurer, Nora Bailey.

Awards for Auxilian of the Month were presented to Wanda Grimmette for March, Nora Willis for April and Alice Cheek and Peggy Heatherman for May. Betty Lambert became a Lifetime Member and was presented with a Lifetime Member Certificate and pin.

Members who celebrated birthdays in March, April, May and June were Hazel Browning, Marcella Kelly, Randell Stepp, Phyllis Conner, Pat Joe White, Ruth Copley, Bertha Curnutte, Deloris Smith, Betty Spears, Peggy Heatherman, Gloria Martin, Nora Willis, Midge Cox, Gay Cook, Annie Johnson, Hessie Gunnells, and Maceline Smith.
