Ralph R. Willis Career/Technical Center National Technical Honor Society inductees.
THREE MILE CURVE — Sixteen students of the Ralph R. Willis Career/Technical Center were recognized for outstanding achievement and leadership by the National Technical Honor Society. The goal of the society is to see that deserving technical students are recognized and that people of the community become aware of the talents and abilities of the young people and adults who choose technical education pathways to a successful future.
On March 22, 2012, students recognized were: Brandon Gibson, 2 year member from Computer Technology, Becky Keathley, Instructor; Morgan Church and Marissa Hare, Health Occupations, Kim Brown, Instructor; Jessica Pack, Pro-Start Culinary, Sallie Chambers, Instructor; Dustin Conley and Jameson Copley, Welding Technology, Jeremy Frazier, Instructor; Nathan Doss and Dustin White, Electrical Technology, Ed Kirkendoll, Instructor; Kyle Parsley, Billy Johnson, Clinton McNeely, Building Construction, Ken Kirk, Instructor; Joshua Jones, Deanna Miller, Collision Repair, Kenneth Marcum, Instructor, and Ryan Baldwin, Raymond Lambert, and Jimmy Vance from Automotive Technology, Cliff Motes, Instructor.
“We are proud of these students and all students that choose career and technical education as their career path. These students are learning a valuable skill that will enable them to land a job and to be successful in life. We wish them much success,” said Principal David Adkins.
NTHS is the acknowledged leader in the recognition of outstanding student achievement in career and technical education. NTHS was founded in 1984 and now has over 3,200 schools and colleges national affiliated with the society.
