The WV Freedom Festival, along with Citizens for Coal, Logan Coal Vendors and The WV Coal Association, will host a coal/jobs rally on Saturday, July 7, at 5 p.m.
Participants are asked to arrive on Midelburg Island at 4 p.m. to line up for the march. Participants in the rally will march to the festival’s main stage in downtown Logan where they will cheer, yell and listen to speakers that understand the huge impact coal has on local families.
Participants are asked to wear their favorite shirt supporting their company, machine shop, group or coal miner.
