KATHARINE CHUTE
BRISTOL, Tenn. — Katharine Chute, 76, of Bristol, Tenn., went to be with the Lord Monday, July 2, 2012, at Wellmont Hospice House.
Born June 29, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Etta Gay Lewis Hebb. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Henry Chute, in 2002; two brothers and five sisters.
Mrs. Chute lived in Logan where she was a member of Sunbeam Chapel for 25 years. She moved to Bristol in 2001 and was a member of Charity Baptist Church. Mrs. Chute was a homemaker.
Survivors include her children: David (Mary) Chute and Rebecca (Allen) White; grandchildren: Hannah White and Rachel White, and several nieces and nephews
Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. today, July 5, at Charity Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Brooks officiating. Committal service and burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Abingdon, Va.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 today to the church.
Pallbearers will be Bill Sharps, Craig Sharps, Ronnie Lambert, Marty Stewart, Bobby Parks, and Zeb Cross.
Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Sharps and Mark Findley.
