KATIE ADAMS

ASHLAND, Ky. — Katie Bryant Adams, 82, of Ashland, Ky., formerly of Logan, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at Ashland Community Hospice Care Center.

Born August 14, 1929, at Logan, she was a daughter of the late Wilson and Ellen Bryant. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Tracy Adams, on March 21, 2005; one son, Danny; brother, Semp Bryant; sister-in-law, Emmy Bryant, and a niece, Wanda.

Mrs. Adams was a homemaker and a member of the Mud Fork Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Greg Wellman; three daughters, Linda Kelley, Vickie Hall and Susie Lyking; grandsons, Craig, Johnny, Timmy, Nicky, Levi and Clint; her only granddaughter, Sophia; several great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Treva, Judy, Brenda and Zandall, and her best friend, Carrie Caldwell.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 9, at the Mud Fork Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Elbert Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the Frye Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-10 p.m. Sunday at the church.
