Meghan Phillips and Nolan Mullins

Meghan Brooke Phillips of Alexandria, Va., and Nolan David Mullins, also of Alexandria, is pleased to announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Bob Phillips of New Martinsville. Meghan was a co-valedictorian of Magnolia High School Class of 2002. She graduated summa cum laude with a BS in History and Psychology, Education, and Leadership minors from Fairmont State University in 2006, where she was also a member of the Honors Program. She then graduated Order of the Coif from the West Virginia University College of Law in 2009. Upon completing the bar exam, she began her employment at the National Labor Relations Board in Washington, DC, where she was a General Counsel’s Honors Program attorney. She is currently an attorney in the Agency’s Division of Advice, Regional Advice Branch.

The prospective groom is a son of James M. and Loretta Mullins of Lebanon, Va. He is 2003 graduate of Logan High School where he played golf and tennis and was state tennis champion his senior year. He graduated from Marshall University in 2008 with BBA degrees in Accounting and Finance and is an accountant for a property management group in the Washington, DC area.

The couple will be united in marriage at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Gethsemane Baptist Church in Richlands, Va.
