Logan High School, as part of the Safe Supportive Schools initiative, will hold Freshman Academy on Monday, August 13. In coming ninth grade students should have pre-registered for this academy, which will provide an introduction to successful attitudes and actions that lead to high achievement for high school students. There will be a building orientation during the academy, and time for students to get to know LHS teachers.
Students who have registered for the academy should arrive at Logan High at 7:45 on the morning of August 13. The academy will dismiss at 2:40 p.m. and students should not check out early.
There is no charge for students to attend the academy, and lunch will be provided. There will not be any other freshman orientation program provided this year, and all incoming freshman are encouraged to attend.
Pre-registration for Freshman Academy is required. Any student who has not already pre-registered can do so by contacting Laura Tracy Baisden via email at: tracy.baisden@gmail.com
This final registration deadline is 9 a.m. Monday, August 6.
