MADISON – The Man Middle School girls’ basketball team easily advanced in the Black Diamond Conference Tournament with Saturday’s 48-8 victory over Van.

The Lady Pioneers were led in scoring by Summer Sword, who had 10 points and six rebounds.

Morgan Conn followed with eight points, while Kerri Castillo had eight points and seven rebounds.

Tabitha Ferguson had six points and five boards.

Tess Mullins and Andi Short each had four points. Courtney Wright had three points and Morgan Church and Mika McCoy had two each. Joci Stevenson rounded out the scoring with one point.

Man plays tonight at 6 p.m. in the tourney semifinals at Madison.
