Two men were arrested recently on charges relating to alleged sex crimes.

Jody Dale Hall, 38, of Huntington, was arrested in Logan by West Virginia State Police Trooper P.J. Dick for two counts of failure to register as a sex offender on Feb. 13.

According to law enforcement reports, on Feb. 13, Trooper Dick was contacted by the Logan Police Department concerning an accused sex offender.

Trooper Dick investigated the complaint and reportedly found that Hall had registered a different physical address and phone number than where he was reportedly residing.

"Hall admitted in a written statement that he no longer lived at (the previous) address and no longer had (the previous) phone number and failed to register this information (with) the Logan detachment of the West Virginia State Police within the required 10-day time frame," the report states.

Hall's address was listed as Logan on his criminal complaint, but he had a Huntington address on the sex offender registry. Hall was listed as being from Cabell County on the West Virginia Sex Offender Registry (http://www.wvstatepolice.com/sexoff/websearchform.cfm).

He was convicted on June 13, 2001, for having sex with a female relative victim between the ages of 6-12.

The Web site states Hall committed "Sexual Battery by an Authority Figure and Attempted Sexual Battery by an Authority Figure in the state of Tennessee" where he served approximately 7 1/2 years in a correctional facility. His victims were reportedly two female acquaintances one who was between the ages of 0-5 years and another between the ages of 6-12.

Hall was taken into custody and booked at the Southwestern Regional Jail at Holden at 3:52 a.m.

James Donald Vickers, 39, of Big Creek, was arrested in Logan County by WVSP Trooper J.K. Harris for sexual assault on Feb. 11.

According to police reports, on Jan. 30, the defendant James Donald Vickers, allegedly entered the residence of the victim, "and forcibly kissed the victim against her will."

"Additionally, the defendant pulled down the victim's shirt exposing her breasts and smacked the victim on her buttocks," the report states.

Vickers was arrested and booked at the regional jail at 3:45 p.m.

• James Michael Goodman, 21, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County, agency not listed, for probation violation on Jan. 12. He was booked at the regional jail at 4:40 p.m.

• Bradley Lee Riffe, 31, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County, agency not listed, for probation violation on Jan. 12. He was booked at the regional jail at 4:40 p.m.

• Jerry Lee Hartwell, 38, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County by the WVSP for domestic battery on Jan. 12. He was booked at the regional jail at 7:55 p.m.

• Mark Elon Brooks, 34, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County by the Logan County Sheriff's Department for domestic battery, obstructing an officer, disorderly conduct and assault on an officer on Jan. 11. He was booked at the regional jail at 12:32 a.m.

• Gerry Walker Garner, 63, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County by the WVSP for domestic assault, fleeing on foot and obstructing an officer on Oct. 9. He was booked at the regional jail at 11:45 p.m.

• Frank Clancy, 30, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County for probation violation, agency not listed, on Jan. 8.
